Both seats open cockpit

Full canopy cockpit

Front cockpit covered, rear cockpit open or bubble canopy

to both seats as cockpit fairing can be opened.

For your luggage the Comet offers a long luggage compartment in front and an optional compartment behind thepilots seat headrest
 

Flaperons

A modern, mechanic flaperon system gives the comet its high agility while offering a low landing speed to make the handling possible for the average pilots with some experience on a Taildragger!

Folding wings for trailer transport

Also rare for bi-Planes:
Fold back the wings in few minutes without help of anyone else and tow the plane home to your garage!

Various powerplants….

You can choose between the Rotax 912 or Rotax 912S engines.
Fix pitch, variable pitch as well as constant speed props are available.
Cooling is provided in a very efficient way by installing a diffuser type radiator.

Safety

The Comet is definitely the FK design which has been stressed to the highest level during load tests and flight analysis.
Wing load tests for example had been driven far beyond the required test limits up to +16/-8 gs (@450kg Acro MTOW)
Stress analysis has been done to meet the basic acrobatic FAR23 load requirements..
The pilots are protected by an inert gas welded steel frame cockpit, which is very robust and easy to repair.
 

Remark:
When registered as ultralight aircraft in most European countries, acrobatic manoeuvres are prohibited - regardless how far the plane is qualified for.
